Speedrun Time Save Calculator

Sum per-split deltas to find net time saved or lost and project the final time versus a personal best or world record.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I enter deltas as negative for time saved?

The sign convention matches most timing software where a green (ahead) split shows a negative number. The net delta then directly tells you how far ahead or behind you are in total.

What is sum of best segments?

The sum of the best delta you have ever recorded for each individual split - a theoretical perfect-run floor and motivating target rather than a realistic expectation.

Should I compare against PB or world record?

Compare to a reference that uses the same route and timing method. Delta against a faster but different strategy is meaningless.

What if a strategy removes a split entirely?

Enter the saved time as one negative delta for that section rather than trying to map it onto the old split layout.

How do I decide when to reset?

Enter your current deltas and check the projected final time. If plausible saves in remaining splits can still produce a PB, keep going. If the deficit exceeds your best-case remaining saves, resetting is rational.
